In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, 34 policemen have been confirmed infected with the Corona virus by Thursday morning. A senior police officer said that the real reason for such a large number of policemen being Kovid-19, who are infected with Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi, are members of the Tabligi Jamaat. He said that the infected members of the Jamaat hid in mosques here and when the police went to apprehend them, they too got infected with the corona virus by coming in contact with them.
Additional Director General of Police Upendra Jain of Bhopal called 'PTI-Bhasha' Told, 'This morning a policeman of the cyber cell was found infected with the corona virus. With this, a total of 34 policemen including police officers in Bhopal have been affected by the corona virus epidemic till this morning. He said that apart from these policemen, about 30 families of policemen working in the corona virus epidemic also suffer from Kovid-19.
Jain said that around 2,100 policemen in the city are not going to their homes after duty to prevent the epidemic from spreading to family members of policemen. Arrangements have been made for these policemen to stay in hotels and PPE kits, sanitizers and food are being provided by the government.

He said, 'Analysis has shown that the corona virus infection among our policemen in the city came from the members of Tabligi Jamaat who returned from Delhi last month when policemen were looking for them Visited various areas of the city. Policemen have been infected with Kovid-19 in such a large number only after coming in contact with the members of the Jamaat. Jain said that there was no case of this epidemic in the police force before the Jamaat members arrived.
He said, “In the last month of last month, in search of the members of the police Jamaat in mosques located in Jehangirabad and Aishbagh police station area. Jain said that about 30 to 35 people who returned from the Tabligi Jamaat held in Delhi were found infected with Kovid-19 here. These include some foreigners as well.
However, he said that not all the policemen who have been found infected with the corona virus have been infected by contact with Jamaat members. A policeman has gone from house to house with the medical team to prevent the corona virus, while some policemen have been infected with corona virus during their deployment to a 'prohibited area' or while on normal duty. But Kovid-19's transition to the police force has first come from Jamaat members. Jain stated, “None of the Corona virus infected policemen or their relatives have traveled abroad.”
