Hyderabad : An Air India aircraft carrying 331 passengers from the UK landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad in the early hours of Tuesday. Later it left for Delhi along with 87 other passengers, from where they will be taken to America. An airport spokesperson said Air India flight AI 1839, a Boeing 773 aircraft, arrived at Hyderabad airport from Delhi at 2.21 am.
At the same time, the plane left for Hyderabad from Delhi with 87 passengers going to America at 5.31 am. This was the fourth flight from Britain to Hyderabad under ‘Vande Bharat Mission’, the biggest exercise to bring Indians stranded in various countries to India due to Kovid-19 lockdown. After completion of immigration and other formalities, the passengers were taken to designated places in the city for 14 days of quarantine as per the rules laid down by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
